I can say I’m definitely looking forward to switching my cell phone plan over to my own name.

I mean, when I don’t have to deal with getting Mom’s authorization to make changes such as renewing my contract, or upgrading my phone, I can just go into a store, sign some papers, and buy a new phone.

I don’t have to deal with over three weeks of paperwork, mixed up effective dates, cancelled orders, and other assorted bullshit.

Thanks to another order that wasn’t accepted (which, unlike the first one, no one felt the need to even tell me about until I called to see if the phone was arriving today or tomorrow), the phone was re-ordered again today, and should arrive at work on Friday. This time through, I also have the name, direct phone number and extension of a customer service representative to call tomorrow and make sure the order went through. And, for their part, they also waived the shipping charge, which was nice.

  • This is seriously the first problem I've ever had with them. I did just get confirmation about 20 minutes ago that it should be arriving at work sometime tomorrow.
