For the first time since 1999, and only the 14th time recorded since 1886, Punxsutawney Phil reported that he saw no shadow this morning, predicting an early spring.

Hmm… Late start to winter, short winter and an early start to spring…

Cue global warming hysteria in 4… 3… 2…

  • And as I was driving home yesterday, I heard an advert for a morning radio program wherein one of the deejays predicted that the Bears would win if Phil saw his shadow.
