Crash update

I went back to the previous entry and updated the accident time information; I’d misunderstood what my mom had told me about the crash.
Megan had been moved to the PICU earlier in the week due to lack of space, but has now been moved back to the regular trauma ICU, and is still being sedated. She’d been wearing a neck brace as a precautionary measure, which has now been removed. They say she has a fever, but is otherwise doing as well as the doctors expected at this point. I think I’m going to go visit her tomorrow.
The Livingston Area Fireline Network has received pictures of the fire and rescue response to the crash scene. She’s not visible in any of the pictures, there’s nothing gross in them. You can see the very badly damaged car, and it’s obvious in at least one picture where they removed the roof to extract her. If you’re up to it, go have a look (SFW).
