America should have wiped Mullah Omar, Usama, the Talib-an, and the entire country of Afghanistan clear off the planet. Like what Imperial Rome did to Carthage! A lesson like that would have avoided the 400 Billion $ subsequent mess of the "war against terror" and a lot of grief in a lot of other countries. Remember, WWII was <i>Ended</i> only after Nagasaki... I agree with Lee Harris, I think the US underresponded to 9/11!
