Kid Nation – Episode 5
Oct 19, 2007 That's Hot
Election day, election day! I don’t see Taylor staying in her Council seat past the end of this episode. On to the observations:
- Hah! Zach left the door open. Hilarious.
- Okay, what’s their problem with Anjay? I haven’t seen a problem with him.
- Taylor got quite the “Oh, f$&%…” look on her face when they read the journal. Also hilarious.
- Oh dear, another food fight.
- Ha, Sophia with the zinger. “How many of you are confident you’ll keep your positions?”
- Hmm… Green District’s meeting went almost too well. I wonder if that’s all there is to it, or if there’s going to be some formal process to it later on.
- OK, that was a little bit too snooty on Olivia’s part, methinks, but who knows.
- Oh, okay, here’s the campaigning.
- Guylan? Where’d he come from?
- Taylor’s so going down. Zach’s gonna walk up one side of her and down the other.
- Wow. How is it not patently obvious to this girl that she’s toast?
- Overall opinion of the challengers: I don’t know if Guylan’s got what it takes to be a leader, largely ’cause we haven’t seen him much yet. Olivia vs. Anjay’s a toss-up: I don’t know what she’s got to offer yet either. Zach’s gonna oust “deal with it” with prejudice.
- They’re really setting up Zach with their episode editing, selling it really hard.
- Wowsa, that’s a lot of meat. What could be the other choice…
- They didn’t like it, but the dental care is the smarter choice. I’m not usually one to promote the government as a mommy, but it was the better way to go.
- Oh, crap. Taylor seems to have numbers on her side. Zach’s gotta turn someone.
- Anjay’s goin’ a little crazy about this whole deal.
- Wow. She actually put “Deal with it” on the poster. That’s so arrogant it’s disgusting.
- OK, Markelle may have a point, but it isn’t his district. It’s not any of his business. Layla deserves an apology.
- Greg’s turning in to a big brother, it was a nice job on his part trying to get Layla cheered up.
- Zach and Greg are both good choices for the gold star.
- Nice job Anjay!
- Olivia hasn’t been paying attention to Taylor, as she has no idea who “the worst leader ever” is.
- Wow. I think the only person who voted for Mike was himself. Did the council leaders vote?
- Only 9 votes decided Yellow District, so must be they didn’t. Mike got one vote from someone… or did Yellow have someone go home? I don’t remember.
- YES! Taylor’s out!
- Okay, I’m not so sure about “Viva revolucion,” but whatever.
- You’ve got a lot of things to get used to, Taylor. You don’t know the friggin’ half of it. And it’s going to be a blast to watch.
