The 2007 Mix
Every year I make myself a mix CD of some of the best songs (in a combination of the chart toppers and my own opinion) of the year. Coming up on the end of 2007, I’ve got some room left on this year’s mix, and I’m not sure what to put in yet. Here’s what I have so far (links go to the iTunes Store):
- “Ladies and Gentlemen” - Saliva
- “Punkrocker” - Teddybears featuring Iggy Pop
- “Home” - Daughtry
- “Here It Goes Again” - Ok Go
- “Galvanize” - The Chemical Brothers
- “Self Control” - Soraya Arnelas
- “In The Air Tonight” - Nonpoint
- “Hey There Delilah” - Plain White T’s
- “Show Me What You Got” - Jay-Z
- “Code Monkey” - Jonathan Coulton
- “1234” - Feist
- “Suddenly I See” - KT Tunstall
- “First Time” - Lifehouse
- “Whine Up (English Version)” - Kat DeLuna
- “The Memory Will Never Die” - Default
Suggestions for additions, and requests of “why did you put that on the list?” are welcome in the comments. Disparaging remarks on my taste in music will be duly noted and largely ignored. ![]()
