The Quasi-Regular Pimp: September 2008
In an experiment borrowed from one Mr. Merlin Mann, here’s a little post for everyone about what all I’m doing, what I’ve been up to, and where you can find me online (aside from here). Merlin’s trying to do this on a roughly-monthly basis; since I don’t post much, I doubt I’ll do so that often. Anywho, here’s what’s what:
Recently, Pauley:
- spent a weekend in New York City for the first time, which was fun.
- saw Glenn Beck’s live stage show from a Victor, NY movie theater.
- attended his third annual NASCAR Pennsylvania 500 race at Pocono Raceway. Incidentally, he also learned, after two and a half years of taking pictures at this race, the best way to shoot pics of cars in motion.
- went to one or two weddings in August.
Oh, and he apparently got married, himself.
Coming up, Pauley:
- will be training to become a Monroe County election inspector for November’s general election.
- will be traveling to Canada more than a few weekends to spend time with his new wife.
- will be starting to fill out immigration paperwork soon so as not to need to travel to see said wife.
- will continue to work on organizing the apartment he moved into about a year ago.
Pauley can be found online at:
- well, here, obviously.
- Twitter, a site where one can post short, SMS-sized messages about what they’re doing at a certain moment.
- Facebook, a social networking site
- Flickr, where I post photos I’ve taken — some of them on my iPhone.
- FriendFeed, a site that brings all of the above (along with a few others sites) together, plus shows you some other links and photos and videos I wanted to share.
I think that’s got the high points covered. Comment if you think something else needs to be here.
