Presenting Disqus
Nov 1, 2008 Blog News
Comments on Digital Brainwaves are now powered by Disqus (pronounced “discuss”). Disqus is a system that allows you to manage and keep track of your blog comments across any site that uses it, as well as keep track of your favorite commenters from blog to blog. To make the most out of it, when posting a comment, choose the Register option below the text box to sign up for a Disqus account, or the Login option if you already have one. It will remain possible for you to post a comment without signing up for an account, by using the Unclaimed option, but it’s more fun if you participate, especially if you follow and comment on other blogs that use Disqus.
Additionally, all of your existing comments have been imported in “unclaimed” status, so if you sign up and have commented here before, consider looking back through my archives and claiming your comments. To do so, after logging in to Disqus, hold your mouse over your name or the grey face icon next to your name, then click “Unclaimed Profile.” Posts you’ve posted on this and other blogs running Disqus with your email address will appear. If they’re your comments, click Claim Profile to import those comments.
If you have any questions, leave’em here.
