The performances should markedly improve starting next week. There's quite the talent range in the top 36, and the 9 they've picked so far really are some of the best singers. Looking forward to see who makes it tonight out of the wild card round.

I may have a new blog when it comes to Idol coverage, very good Pauley. I don't feel so guilty being a fan but I will say that this season NEEDS to step it up or this may be my last season for Idol…

I wasn't paying enough attention during the auditions and Hollywood Week, so I don't remember what he was like earlier in his run. He had to be pretty good to get this far… but I don't think he earned his way into the top 12 tonight.

Apparently Alex W-T is my friend's boss' son…she's trying to get people to vote for him. I was going to ask you because I don't ever vote (well, I don't think I've actually seen an episode of the show, so I don't even know how to vote), but since you didn't like him much, I won't. Even though I don't watch the show, it's fun to be up on my pop culture by reading your blogging.
