Bills finally win a wild one

For the first time in 22 months, according to a stat I saw someplace online last night, the Buffalo Bills have defeated a fellow member of the AFC East.

It seemed a lot like last week’s game versus the Cleveland Browns, in that each team was doing all it could to give the game to its opponent. Last week, Buffalo finally succeeded in losing the game, and this time the New York Jets finally submitted.

Should be interesting to see what happens this weekend, facing a Carolina Panthers team that is on a 2-game win streak after having lost their first three games of the season. Will one team actually win the game, or will both struggle to lose again?

We Needed That

Excellent work by the Buffalo Bills in dismantling the Kansas City Chiefs 54-31 today. Granted, the Chiefs have only won one game this season, so they weren’t expected to do very well, but momentum is momentum, which I’d only expect to continue against the 3-8 San Francisco 49ers.  In its win today, Buffalo scored the most points in a game since 1993, in addition to scoring more points against Kansas City than any KC opponent has ever scored. Plus, to top it all off, BUF QB Trent Edwards ran for not one, but two rushing touchdowns. Go Bills!
