My DVR apparently did not tape last night’s edition of American Idol, and as such I have no copy to blog. I did watch the performances last night at my friends’ poker game, and cast votes for Asia’h (1), Amanda (3), Kristy (5) and Brooke (7), though I think I should have voted for Carly, too. Not sure who will be going home tonight. Will blog the results show shortly.

Alas, I was not able to watch the results show last week. Jason Yaeger and Robbie Carrico didn’t surprise me, I’d called them as going home at the end of the show. The cuts of Alaina Whitaker and Alexandréa Lushington were mindboggling, as they were two of the best performances of the night. They’ll be sorely missed, as the remaining contestants have big shoes to fill.
