Trade Wars 2002
I’ve recently started maintaining a server running a Trade Wars 2002 game. I welcome anyone who’s interested to come play.
The house rules are pretty simple:
- One character per user.
- Don’t cheat.
- Don’t be a jerk (especially to new players).
This server exists for the enjoyment of all its players, but it is my server. If you’re playing within the rules, you’re welcome to have a good time. If you’re breaking the rules, I reserve the permanent right to…
- Warn you verbally,
- Penalize your character in some appropriate manner,
- Delete your character,
- Ban your IP, or
- Take some other action as I see fit.
The decision to act and choice of action against problem players will be at my sole discretion.
Questions, comments, concerns, abuse reports, complaints and snide remarks can be left here by comment, emailed to me (try sending it to pauley @t digitalbrainwaves dot com — you should be able to figure out how to make that a legal email address), or directed to me in any other way you know of to contact me.
If you got through all that and still want to play, fire up your favorite telnet/terminal client (I’m a fan of PuTTY and SyncTERM) and point it to port 2323 on pauleynet.digitalbrainwaves.com . Happy trading!
Note: This game requires the use of a terminal client program that supports telnet. You cannot play this game from a web browser.
